We Won!

The votes have been counted and election certified - we won!

Thanks to your support I have been elected to School Board in the San Juan Unified School District. It was a clear and resounding victory that demonstrated the power and importance of parents’ voice and an unwavering commitment to putting kids first in education.

  • We earned 62% of all votes cast (11,949 out of 19,297).

  • We won a clear majority of votes in all 27 electoral precincts.

  • We were the top vote getter across all Trustee Area elections in the district.

I will take the Oath of Office on Dec. 13, 2022. I'm honored to have Sacramento County Board of Education Trustee and fellow parent, Joanne Ahola, swearing me in.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without your support. Our kids have had a tough few years and it’s heartening to know that people still unite to put kids first in education. I’m grateful to my family, friends, and neighbors for the trust they have placed in me to be a voice for parents on the school board.

Now it’s time to get to work.

All the best,

Ben
