Trustee Areas
San Juan Unified School District recently transitioned to electing School Board Members by trustee areas, rather than electing them districtwide. That means that school board members must live in a local Trustee Area and be elected by their neighbors.
Ben Avey is running for School Board in Trustee Area 6. On the map below, Trustee Area 6 is in the lower right corner and is dark yellow.
Ben Avey is running for election in Trustee Area 6 which includes the communities of Fair Oaks, Gold River, and portions of Citrus Heights. Trustee Area 6 schools include Bella Vista High School, Carnegie Middle School, Gold River Discovery Center K-8, Orangevale Open K-8, Earl LeGette Elementary School, Northridge Elementary, Pershing Elementary, and Twin Lakes Elementary.
