Re-Elect Ben Avey for School Board

Academic excellence, safe, modern schools, and responsible budgets are the foundation of a strong school district. As your elected School Board Member, these priorities have guided every decision I’ve made and will continue to guide my service on the San Juan Unified School Board.

As a father of four school-age children who was born and raised in Fair Oaks and attended San Juan Unified schools, I understand what families expect from their neighborhood schools. Every student deserves a safe, welcoming campus, excellent teachers, and the opportunity to succeed.

Since being elected in 2022, I’ve worked to strengthen academic achievement, modernize aging schools, maintain responsible budgets, and improve services for students with special needs. As Board President, I put students first while ensuring taxpayer dollars were invested wisely.

Professionally, I’ve dedicated my career to serving local communities through mission-driven nonprofit organizations. Today, I serve as a leader within a community health system, advocating for vulnerable families throughout our region.

I’m honored to be endorsed by Sacramento County Supervisor Rich Desmond, State Senator Roger Niello, Assemblyman Josh Hoover, Sacramento County Board of Education Trustee Vanessa Caigoy, San Juan Unified School Board Trustee Zima Creason, Sacramento Association of REALTORS®, and the San Juan Parents Association.
